If you are going to get to the Port of Tyne’ International Passenger Terminal by road, follow the A1 towards Morpeth from Newcastle City Center, then the A19 towards the Tyne Tunnel. On approach to the tunnel, follow the A187 towards North Shields and then ‘Royal Quay’s. Address is Cobledene, North Shields, Tyne and Wear, NE29 6EE.
The Port Of Tyne features a large ferry/cruise terminal seating up to 800 guests. The Port of Tyne is able to offer secure car parking facilities to passengers. Places must be reserved through your booking agent or tour operator and paid for in advance. On arrival at the Port of Tyne please make your way to the passenger terminal where you will be met by the baggage handlers. Once your baggage has been passed to the handlers, please make your way to the car park. On entering the car park the automated barrier will produce an electronic ticket which you will need to take with you to check in for validation. Please also remember to display clearly your car parking voucher.
The car park is within walking distance of the terminal and on disembarkation baggage is delivered to a reclaim point within this car park for those with parked cars.
